Lots of things going on lately. First, I hope you guys enjoyed the wonderfully put together Halloween Special by Jinra and the Ningin Bloggers. Mixed within all of that is two great interviews of Harry Shum from Glee and my personal cosplay hero, Alodia Gosiengfiao. Then there’s the Wirebot - gaming community - expansion. The door was cracked open last week, but we’re going to make a big gaming push this week with tons of gaming related articles coming your away across the entire network starting tomorrow. And already it’s November 1st. November is going to be all about expansion as we’re looking to launch one new website a week. Yes you read that right, one website a week! Of course, we got some great prizes coming up from autographed memorabilia to Nintendo Wiis and Xbox360s. Lots of things to look forward too! More »

Last week of October makes me think about Halloween. I don’t know about you guys, but I think Halloween is the most magical time of the year, even moreso than Xmas. You see, Halloween is when it’s ok to take candy from strangers. It’s ok to dress up like anime characters walking down the street or speak Klingon in public. Colleges around the country throw theme parties where everyone dresses from the 70s, or their favorite Harry Potter character, or cross-dress like the opposite sex. People can wear scream masks or goalie masks without everyone around them freaking out. Of course, the Jabbawockeez can go into a bank without others thinking they’re gonna rob the place. Call me crazy, but isn’t that a better world than the one we live in 364 days out of the year? Because Halloween is so special, Jinra and the Ningin Bloggers, have put together a NINE part special dedicated to Halloween. It’s the least we can do. While we’re on the subject of All Hallows’ Eve, Justin Chon from the Twilight vampire movies was kind enough to give us an interview. How many of you guys like video games? I’ve been thinking about video games a lot recently since we’re gonna be launching a video game website, Wirebot, soon. And you know what’s the first promo we’re gonna do when that video game website launches? Well, we been giving out posters, albums, and games. So the next escalation would be game systems! After starting with weeks of girl groups and girl artists for our weekly prizes, we’ve been doing a lot of male groups and artists lately. It wasn’t planned that way nor is it a big deal, just an observation. The Summer Reward promo isn’t the only thing to get an upgrade in prizes. Starting this week and for the next two weeks, the weekly posters prizes will be the SNSD- Genie blue posters! Twice now I’ve seen a last minute Saturday night push by someone to make it into the top 3. This time it’s ryu00 that knocked out Choochi. (The first was on 5/3.) Perhaps Choochi was being nice and let ryu00 win since she already won last week? Now the final contest in this JYP/Wonder Girl campaign is over. Funny, it seemed like yesterday when we started all this, but it’s been seven weeks. It’s hard to measure how many new Wonder Girl fans were created through the collective efforts of everyone who participated in these contests, but I do believe the Wonder Girls are definitely closer to crossing over into the US media. We’ve been getting a lot of questions asking what exactly are we giving away every day. So here just see for yourself in these photos after the jump. There isn’t any official merchandise such as cds, t-shirts, or posters related to BoA’s Eat You Up album yet because the we’re still a few months away from actual release. So Ningin made one-of-a-kind collector’s posters which BoA so generously autographed. Having collected a few autographs from many celebs, I have to say, BoA’s signature is really cool. Anyway there’s a couple of CDs that we had signed too.

Everyday we’re giving out two posters to lucky Ningin users. All you have to do is visit us each day so there’s a chance, albeit tiny chance, that you can win multiple days.
