Since Red Cliff is out today in select cities and because there are currently more Rottentomatoes reviews than you can shake a stick at, we’re early with the pin game results. We’re happy with this because it’s getting people talking. If math is totally your thing, you’ll know that a lot of submitted Rottentomatoes reviews equates to a score that doesn’t fluctuate much. Ningin has a lot of visitors on a daily basis, most of them are lurkers. By lurkers, I mean people who visit regularly but never register and never interact with other users. While we don’t require you to register to read or access the news and media on our site (nor do we ever plan on changing that), it would be nice if you lurkers stepped out of the proverbial internet shadows and register. I feel like this phase is the one that’s long overdue. The EXP system, sometimes also called our reputation or reward system, is basically just that, a means of keeping track of your reputation here on Ningin and also a means of rewarding you. We ended up calling it EXP because it’s very much akin to experience points in video games and because it’s just short to say and type. Plus, I think most people just know what EXP is when you say it unless you never once played video games in your life. More »
