Back in 2007, the Japanese-American artist by the name of Emyli released her “Day By Day” single in Japan. I had a chance to talk to this talented artist back in my aF Radio days, and she’s a very nice person. Don’t let her personality deceive you, though. Behind that is a powerful dancer with equally powerful vocals. More »

For T-ara they are officially calling a comeback for a new single; Crazy Because of You. Where did they go? Nowhere if you ask me. A couple days go by that they aren’t in a page headline, all hell breaks loose in Korean media, so thus they call it a “comeback.” Well what are we complaining about? More T-ara for us! More »

SNSD has just released their new album entitled “Oh!” The title track is, of course, entitled “Oh!” Reports have come in that these record sales have just shattered those of the Genie single and Oh! seems to be the #1 song on charts all over South Korea. I, on the other hand, don’t see what all the hype is about. More »

Girls’ Generation just recently released their new song called “Oh!” and today the music video for the song was revealed. It’s more or less a very Girls’ Generation style video, and it wasn’t extremely hard to predict what this music video was going to be like. More »

Daesung of the five member pop group, Big Bang, has just released his newest single entitled “Cotton Candy.” It is a pop/R&B song that precedes the Big Bang concert that is taking place in a matter of days. Keep reading to see what I thought of this sugary song. More »

Dynamic female duo 2NB has just released a new single yesterday entitled Black Tears. The A-side song, Black Tears, is a very drama OST-esque ballad. Powerful vocals combined with an excellent instrumental helps the track from becoming trite like other OST songs can sometimes sound. Overall, it’s a pretty good song. More »

Peaking at #1 on the Oricon Daily and Weekly charts, as well as the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Singles sales, this single adds to a long collection of #1 songs that Ms. Hamasaki has released. More »

There are few artists out there these days that are consistently pumping out great music. With most people, songs are either hit and miss, and it is not uncommon for artists to be famous one day and fade into the shadows the next. YUI is certainly not one of these artists. More »

Could it be a message to their ex-leader, Jaebum? 2PM has released a new single, this time as 6 members. The song is called “Getting Tired While Waiting.” The title is pretty interesting right? Could it be for Jae Bum? Is 2PM getting tired of all this commotion against them because Jae Bum left? Also, are they losing hope because Jae bum is showing no signs of returning? More »

For the first time in many months, we get to hear Big Bang’s voices. Big Bang fans have been suffering to see some Big Bang action. With Dae Sung getting into a huge car accident that required surgery, other members doing solo activites and T.O.P. filming IRIS, fans thought they would never seem them have a song together. FT Triple is a branch off from members of FT Island. They have created a track called Two Date, which is directly a conclusion to One Date by the complete FT Island group. But why the branch off? I can’t even tell you. More »

This song is beyond good. I wish this song was featured on an album! If you haven’t been on Ningin, then you missed some pretty important news. Girls’ Generation and their new younger sister group, f(x), shot a commercial together for the LG Chocolate phone. Both groups recorded a song. Both songs are so great. It’s too hard to choose which one is better! More »

Its not only the Wondergirls(50s) and 2ne1 (late 80s) who are fashioning themselves based off a flashback to the past. FT Island is taking on the 50’s grease image and they certainly don’t look too shabby pulling it off. Their style was designed for their latest single “Cross and Change” in which the band promised a progression from their previous image and music styles. More »

This past week, rock celebrity Gackt Camui released his 28th single entitled “Jesus”. Although highly anticipated by his fans that have waited for over a year, the CD was not available for sale to the public but only a special limited edition DVD was released exclusively to Gackt’s fan club.

His fan club called Dears was allowed to purchase the item before the public edition on December 3rd. Both versions will contain the title track and re-working of Sayonara, plus the instrumental versions.

The lyrics are very controversial as they describe the decent into someone contemplating suicide in addition a rap about instigating suicide. The surreal and dark concept follows a man who is visibly disturbed which makes this one of Gackt’s best singles. More »

BoA hates Americans. Or at least that’s what it looks like. Today, the U.S. version of BoA’s debut American single “Eat You Up” was released, along with the digital single. The Americans really got screwed over with this video. In my opinion, the U.S. version should have been trashed. The Asia version, released earlier this week, is about a million times better, and even more suited for the U.S than the U.S. version itself. With the cheap effects, terrible dancing, and overall suckiness, the only explanation I can think of is that BoA hates us. Check out the video for yourself below. More »
