You know I actually couldn’t even think of a way to start this review of Sucker Punch. This movie isn’t worthy of much praise other than for the graphics and action. The story is mediocre at best and the soundtrack is clichéd most of the time. (Badass rock music with some famous rock songs.) And yet the movie charmed me. Maybe its because it felt like a video game and that as a young female adult, I could relate to Baby Doll, or maybe because I was trying very hard not to hate the movie, I’m not sure. But this movie does have a certain aesthetic style that you can easily fall in love with. More »
