The summer comes to an end, while the Brown Eyed Girls have taken the no.1 spot for Kpop viewers in Korea! Whatever happens, we can only speculate. Maybe it was some combination of Brown Eyed Girls releasing their album at the very end of summer? Possibly the viewer’s newly acquired taste in mature, edgier themes? What do you think? More »

While most people in the summer enjoy jumping into the pool, UFC lightweight champ B.J. Penn, a Hawaiian native, has perfected the art of jumping out of the pool. It’s not like anyone pooped in the pool or released an alligator from the wild into the pool– Penn literally can vertically jump out of a pool at 3 feet. No hands, rail or poolside assistance, jumping out of the pool. Diving in reverse, basically. Diving in reverse or jumping out of pools on Youtube has been a recent trend for athletes. From Girlybubble: Lately I’ve had such a craving for desserts. This always happens to me around the summer. But as you all probably know desserts can be a hassle to make. I definitely can’t stand being in a hot kitchen during the summer. So I spent last night looking for some easy to make desserts that are also light and pretty to look at. Pretty food just tastes better, everyone knows that!

Every year there’s some signature fashion trend for the summer. For 2008 (and depending on who you talk to), it was bold colors, skinny belts, and draped dresses. 2000 was famously the “thong year” because of that annoying song. This year, I would love it if it was these balloon slippers that SNSD is wearing! There’s a website dedicated to it too. Haha I just ordered a pair while writing about this. I’m such an impulse shopper ^^

I guess Rain is a fitting celeb to endorse the new line of scents called Nature Republic. Apparently as part of the deal, Rain has to walk around showing his abs a lot. Still wondering why he hasn’t endorsed umbrellas or something cooler like a water amusement park.

BoA is coming to San Francisco, June 28, 2009.The SF Pride festival is quite a huge event, as many people would come to see their favorite artists whether gay or straight. This is a great place to be, since other large pop stars such as Lady Gaga are typically scheduled to perform there. More »
