From Flauntme: Now that dark lipstick is a totally legit look according to Etude House’s book, the brown smoky eye is now acceptable in the form of Etude House’s Sweet Recipe Chocolate Smudge Liner. Naturally, to market the concept of a sexy smoky brown eye to a legion of pastel n’ glitter lovin’ adolescent Asian girls, Etude House had to package the Sweet Recipe Chocolate Smudge Liner in a pot that camouflages as a heart-shaped piece of chocolate. Complete with it’s own wrapper! Evern intrigued as to how they’d pull this off, I decided to try the Sweet Recipe Chocolate Smudge liner in Dark Choco Brown, the darker of the two shades. More »

From Flauntme: When Etude House’s Mini Brow Class Shaping Guide first landed on my desk, a co-worker asked me why I had a model of the female reproductive system out. Since then, I’ve never been able to see it the same way I did before it ended up on my desk. Thanks, co-worker. Fortunately, I’ve discovered that aside from resembling the female anatomy, it’s a beauty tool designed for the purpose of brow shaping and maintenance! More »

From Flauntme: In the world of Korean beauty products, Etude House is one of the most popular and first brands that come to mind. Though what’s more exciting is to see them collaborate with such an iconic figure like…Hello Kitty! With a variety of items in the line, let’s get to this particular review on the Hello Kitty Eau de Toilette in Sweet Fresh. More »

From Flauntme: Obviously Etude House’s Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Lipstick in RD306 doesn’t list oxblood as an ingredient. I’m talkin’ oxblood as in, the lipstick shade that swept the Fall 2012 runways by storm. Given how darkand sexy oxblood is and how low-end Korean beauty brands tend to only love safe, conservative lipstick shades, I figured Korea would skip out on this trend but I was proven wrong. From Flauntme: I get both compliments and concerned remarks about my skin, since it’s quite pale, apparently. Of course, I myself might not be aware, since I see it every day. However, it’s always nice to make my complexion look as flawless as possible with BB Cream, at least to even out my skin tone. Having a makeup base helps the makeup stay on longer and keep the face looking brilliant. Let’s take a look at It’s Skin Color Play Silky Make Up Base in 1 Mint Green. Ooh, sounds so Spring-like! From Rekuru: I don’t know about you, but I love cute things and I love decorating my room so I was going through cute Japanese things online and I couldn’t help but share. Check out these 5 items that can help kawaii-fy your room! More »

From Flauntme: If my pores could run, they’d run for cover. They’re so large and noticeable and…oily. In an attempt to help them not be so large and oily, I’ve recently tested Holika Holika’s Pore Sea Stem Cover Balm. Like lip balm is to lips, so is Holika Holika Pore Sea Stem Cover Balm to pores. From Flauntme: If concealer were yogurt, I’d say Tony Moly’s Berry Lovely Girl Tip Concealer is the greek yogurt of concealers. I say this because my encounter with the Berry Lovely Girl Tip Concealer in No. 2 Porcelain reminds me of my first encounter with greek yogurt. Like most greek yogurt, the Berry Lovely Girl Tip Concealer isn’t advertised as being creamy so it was such a pleasant surprise. More »

From Omghaute: Kate Moss is doing a new fashion collaboration, not with another brand but with a sushi restaurant. More »

From Flauntme: FINALLY! The sun is shining and it’s been a lovely start to spring, at least for these last couple of days where I live. And with that, what better way to get into the cheery mood than for a new coat of polish on my digits? One look at the super lilac shade from It’s Skin’s 1 Minute Innovation Nail Stylure line and I knew it was the perfect choice. But let’s see how it does performance-wise. More »

From Flauntme: Currently any sort color-changing lip product is all the rage in Korean beauty. Although I’m not in Korea, I’ve currently fallen victim to the trend in recent times. I mean, how cool does it sound to apply something you think is one color only to discover that’ll change to a different color depending on your body chemistry?! The latest color-changing lip product I’ve had the opportunity to explore is It’s Skin’s Ice Creamy Lip Bar in No. 1 Strawberry. More »

From Flauntme: Um, yeah, that Victoria’s Secret reference is solely because of the It’s Skin Color Play Black Jewel Lip Rouse’s color name. Prior to Love Pink, I had tried out the Neon Pink one, which didn’t produce the best results. Hopefully my love for pink will overcome this time around! More »

From Flauntme: The weather still cannot make up its mind about whether to be warm or cold, and my skin is somewhat suffering from the extra element called wind that got thrown into the mix. Moisture is needed, big time! So I called upon the powers of It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Facial Cream to see if it would grant me its blessing for smooth, healthy skin during this season. More »

From Flauntme: Accessories have come a far way in terms of uniqueness. However, you’ve got to give it to Japan’s Fake Food Hatanaka, as I’m pretty sure they’re the first to sell headbands that look completely edible. More »

From Flauntme: I was pretty psyched when I found that Shiseido’s new Benefique line would include retinol-based treatment products. Obviously it’s not retinol in pure concentrated form but rather a derivative of retinol called retinol acetate. Or, vitamin A in short. Retinol acetate tends to be friendlier on sensitive skin as it’s found in lower concentrations over the counter. For the past three weeks I’ve been using retinol acetate-containing Shiseido Benefique’s Retino Essence, an anti-aging essence/serum-type product that’s meant to be applied following the Shiseido Benefique Lotion.
