It was announced a while ago that there would be a Korean remake of the Korean movie, The Housemaid. I just want to say first, thank goodness it wasn’t an American one. The movie will be released May 13 (Might I add that 13 is an unlucky number!!). I would summarize it, but AsianMediaWiki says it best: “A wealthy husband has an affair with his housemaid. Because of this, the husband will suffer …. ” The maid is played by Jeon Do-Yeon, who is known for Secret Sunshine, which she won an award for at Cannes.
