Not exactly in a perverted way but they have been showing their teenage fans a lot of love as of late.

The five hotties have been on a school attack tour for their Samsung Ha Ha Ha campaign and the Japanese show “Dreams Come True”. Their first school was an all girl school in Korea where they performed Jaurim - Ha Ha Ha. The second was in Japan which focused on three girls whose dream was to dance with DBSK. Well they were fulfilled and tears were everywhere. Aw!

However that’s not all. Lead DBSKer Yunho visited his old high school, Kwangil High School, to not only give an inspirational speech but pay for the scholarships of 6 Junior students (6,000,000 Won).

SBS’s much awaited Inkigayo episode premiered last night. As expected, the performances were awesome, one of which was the piano battle between DBSK’s Junsu and Big Bang’s Tae Yang.

While their English could use a little work, the overall performance was still enjoyable. Tae Yang went first with Frankie J – Don’t Want to Try while Junsu with 98 Degrees – My Everything.

I think it’s safe to say Junsu won?

Yunho was one of the four selected to do a dance battle for SBS Inkigayo. While he did perform well, the lead DBSKer suffered a wardrobe malfunction early in his performance.

No there was no boob action (although I wish there was), his hat actually just fell off. He did look a little embarrassed but like a trooper he just kept going.

However to make up for the lack of boobage, DBSK later performed their original Mirotic (the one that says “under my skin”) and took off their shirts despite all the governmental issues earlier. How do you like them apples?

Some of the most popular artists in Japan are not even Japanese. In fact, many of these top selling talents are imported from South Korea.

Teen sensation Younha rocketed to stardom with her song “Houki Boshi”. The catchy and clever tune was used as an ending theme for the anime Bleach. Born in South Korea, the talented Youhna started playing piano at age 4 and taught herself Japanese. Her Influences to begin a career in Japan was her own interest in Dorama and singers like Utada Hikaru. She is the second Korean artist, after BoA, to have broken into the Oricon top 20.

Another Hallyu star is Mink, who auditioned for Avex Trax while on studying in Japan. Mink’s stage-name in actuality is an acronym for Made IN Korea; her real name is Mikyung Lee. She rarely performs using her native Korean language but instead sings in English and Japanese. Proudly Mink is the one of the first Asian Artists to have a single reach No.1 in the US charts. She did so, on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart with a remix version of “Glory of Life”.

As the winter holidays are in the midpoint of their season, we look out upon all the wonderful Holidays we share.  How happily and culturally diverse we are.  We get Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and TVXQ Day!  The fantastic five have their own day and this came about when MTV’korea held a virtual presidential election. The boy band bested the other thirty candidates to be awarded with the title ”President(s) of the Republic of Korean Music”. The second and third placers were rapper Jang Woo Hyuk and BIG BANG.

Due to this mock election win, December 23rd was declared TVXQ DAY.

So I hope you enjoy your TVXQ DAY everyone!

Oh please. This was the most pointless change to DBSK’s “Mirotic.”

After being told that their song was too inappropriate, DBSK was forced to censor their song. Their solution, change “Under My Skin” to “Under My Sky.” Good job. That makes TONS of sense now.  “I got you under my sky?” As if Engrish wasn’t bad enough. It was also stated that their lyrics, particularly “Red Ocean,” needed to be censored since it was believed that a woman’s menstrual cycle was implied. Well, they didn’t change that. I don’t see why “Under My Skin” needed to be fixed… “Under My Sky” just lost me even more. I’m sure there’s another word other than “sky” that fits. Also, there was a slight change in Yunho’s rap. Instead of him saying “I caught you” it changes to “I choose you” or something to that extent. I tried to figure it out since I don’t really know Korean. Obviously, these people had their mind in the gutter when they claimed the song was too mature for 19 year olds. I may not be 19 yet but I’m still listening to the original any way. As a fangirl, my mind is usually in the gutter anyways. Seductive, yes. Inappropriate, no.

Here’s a clip of the newly censored song in action…

DBSK does it again with this sexalicious new MV for their song “Wrong Number.” This is the thrill of fangirling right here. The picture they used may have been wrong but certainly not the video. The picture makes it look like all the boys are secretly strippers and Max just owns them. In this new MV, we get to see a sexy side to all of the boys, especially band leader U-Know (Yunho). There were scenes where my jaw just dropped from the sexy overload. I thought he was just too sexy for the screen when he gives that glance to Xiah while on the phone. NO. It got hotter than that. That scene where Yunho was in the bath tub. GOODNESS. And when he STEP OUT of the bath tub. I swear, these boys poison my teenage mind every time. Then there’s also a few new backing vocals added with Xiah singing. He’s got an amazing voice. But I’m pretty sure there’s just going to be lots of fangirling over Hero (with his rapping part and all). Just my fangirling instincts kicking in I suppose. I think everyone will just have to see the MV for themselves.

The Yajima Beauty Salon, a comedic musical group of three men dressed up as black women, recently spent some time with the one and only DBSK/TVXQ. Being a newly convert in the religion of DBSK, I found that the time they shared together was an unforgettable one – even if Yajima is a bunch of trannies.

The two groups were found sharing a meal together at the Avex building. While the Avex building is suppose to be a place of serious matters, apparently someone was smart enough to bring a portable gas stove. Thanks to all the BBQ, they actually smoked up an entire meeting room. Gg?

Not only did the two share a meal, but Yajima Beauty Salon had the balls (literally) to perform for DBSK as a means of thanking them for the BBQ. It was like a moment from the movie Dream Girls only 10x better. DBSK members Jae Joong, Micky, Xiah and Max eventually joined in on the fun whereas Yunho recorded the whole performance.

I never realize DBSK and trannies could be such a good mix.

Now that the Mirotic single has played out (but not their sexy bodies), it’s time for a new MV.

According to rumor, the new MV will be my all time favorite track “Wrong Number”. While there is no official word yet, it is one of the most popular tracks as Hero Jae Joong gets to rap for the first time. /Faints.

The new MV is going to be shot at the sleek M Boutique Hotel and include a flashy Aston Martin. Ballin? They’re going all out for this MV due to the recent hype they’ve received although I would have gone for a Bentley.

TVXQ has officially released their fourth album, Mirotic, only a few days ago but even before then it has hit number 1 on the charts. I’m glad they’re back in Korea again so they can put these fake talentless boy bands to shame.

The new album is title Mirotic which is the combination of a coined Korean word “miro” and the English word “tic”. The word “miro” means “lost or maze” which has lead people to believe the definition is the feeling of being wrapped in love with no way out.

Listening to the entire album, I was more of a fan of the slow songs (especially Jae Joong’s solo) over the upbeat ones although “Wrong Number” and “Crazy Love” were one of my favorites. I really enjoyed the entire album with its techno pop feel; definitely a hit for a comeback album.
